I’m Mathilde. Just under 30 and French, I am currently studying a B.A. in communication (yes, I am kind of late bloomer, ambition kicked in late). Travelling is one of my vital hobby and the reason why I put my professional life on hold (until 3 years ago).
I am now balancing my internship and thesis, while planning the next chapter of my life, which still remains a vague concept, especially on a geographical level.
In my spare time I play the guitar, draw and paint (mostly nude women), cook lovely meals and occasionally yield to a relaxing wine tasting session with my man (yes just the two of us, it’s a very exclusive club).
The idea behind ‘a french girl in France’ is to offer a french perspective on what this country is really about. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of blogs out there on the beautiful country that is France, but most english written ones are by foreigners. This time you’ll be able to discover it through the lenses of a native, born and raised in Paris, now living in Nantes. From food to culture, art to literature and travels to experiences, this lifestyle blog how hope will make you feel as if you’re right there with me.
